Funny how you condemn someone for deciding to make a decision along the lines
of conscience.

Is Gore the best we've got? No, I don't think so. I think we have better. I
wish they would have run.

They didn't.

Bush, in my view, was substantially worse, and more dangerous.

One of those two was going to the white house. That was inevitable. If there
was a real third party in this country that could've mounted a solid chance of
going for the white house, I probably would've given it serious thought. If
the election weren't as close as this was was shaping up to be, I probably
would've voted for Nader.

But I felt my obligation was to try to ensure that the worse of the two did not
get into office.

That was the voice of my conscience. Which you ridicule, while I do not
ridicule your choice.

I always kinda thought that following your conscience was the whole IDEA behind
