Thanks, all. I think I may have finally gotten it out, via spyware
doctor, which pc tools recommended. I'm still keeping an eye on it,
but I think it's okay now. Man, that was an all day process,
including setting up the new system I'd bought a while back but hadn't
yet put in, just in case this one was bricked. Mean little
sonofabitch. Wouldn't even let me restore to a prior version.
Again, thanks for the help. If it comes back, I'll go for the
solutions noted above.
