1) The actual *figures* that have come out certify that only a few hundred people in that county were Reform party members, the rest were members of other independent parties, and
2) Most of the population in that area are from jewish backgrounds who took great exception to many of Buchanan's statement about the holoucoust, and would never vote for him. One rabbi in the area stated that members of his congregation were in TEARS over even the *possibility* that they had accidentally voted for Buchanan.
So it ain't exactly what you'd call a likely prospect.
